We had another round of snow and ice down here, too. I am definitely sick of it !! We usually have one snow a year...we have had 3 so far !! We have not lost power, but my phone was out off all of Saturday evening and up until yesterday afternoon. When this stuff melts, it is going to be a MESS. Not too mention, that the chickens are PO'd !! We shoveled out the runs, but we just keep getting more on top of it !! We also had a huge pine tree fall down by the barn. Luckily, it fell AWAY from the barn. It just completely uprooted and fell. I dread to walk the rest of our property. I bet we have a bunch of trees that have fallen. Will have to check it out as soon as we can get back in the woods. I'm ready for Spring too, Renie.

 jj is sick of rain.we have had so much rain it washed my drive out a little. not bad but its been so long since its washed out. last Wednesday i got the tractor out an scraped it all nice and it looked great. then the rain came and just kept comin. Thursday morning it was the biggest mess iv every seen. all mush. iv been trying to pack it down with the wide 4x4 tires on the truck but. its just to wet in spots. Saturday by lunch it had stopped raining, and hasn't since then. today it was mostly sunny an kinda warm lol. i tried to pack some of it this evening but its still just mush. maybe by July it will be dry enough to get it packed back down. looks like the only thing that will help it now it another 19 ton of crush an run. oh and Rusty my runs look like crap now  to wet to till. i had the tarps off the last rain so they got a good soaking. iv never been more ready for spring than i am this year.
