faint:* and i thought i might slip this one by without counting it ohno:)
grphg:)
thanks guys

iv been kinda preoccupied this past week haven't been posting or checking the board like usual.
Friday a week ago  my dd and her dh came in from camp lejeune in NC.
over the past week iv worked my regular job 8-430 came home and started working on the son in-laws 97 jeep wrangler Sahara TJ  until around 1 am every night, Friday i didn't have to work my regular job so we worked on the jeep until Saturday 4 am test drove it and it is working perfect.
things we had to repair
new clutch
pressure plate
throwout bearing
pilot bearing
2 new u- joints.
removed the transmission and transfer case
totally disassembled transmission
we installed a master rebuild kit in the 5 speed manual transmission.
the rebuild kit required all new brass synchronizer's
all new bearings and all new seals

this transmission has wow to many piece's to list
cleaned each part with a tooth brush and parts cleaner.
painted the transmission and installed everything back on the jeep with new parts.
at about 4 am Saturday morning we drove the jeep out for a test drive.
after all this hard work aching backs hands feet..... well everything hurt.
i was so scared it wouldn't work it wasn't the first id done but i hope its the last lol.
the jeep returned with the son inlaw driving giving  the thumbs up after the test drive i almost wanted to  jump for joy but we were just to tired.
over all i think me and Andrew the son in law put in around 60 hours on the jeep.
im sure it took us longer to do the job, but we know its done right and he saved a bunch of money.
ya know,
we that have kids, say we will do most anything for them,    well its the truth for me, my life is centered around my kids and my family, i love them with all my heart an soul, id kill and id die for my kids.
so yeah i spent the first 4 hours of my birthday this year 2010 under a jeep with my son inlaw,
yeah you can say we got in some great bonding time together this past week :rotfl:.
and i can honestly say im glad i did,...... cause now i can rest assured that my dd picked a great guy to marry.  and i love him as one of my own.
great kid serving his country. paying his dues.
a Marine a great kid but also a man...... and i hope and pray that he and my dd have a long happy life together,
but if i catch him in the mud in that jeep im gonna :spanking: fghtx2:(  :rotfl:

anyway im rested now so its back to the normal grind well it will be Tuesday,
i got a 4 day weekend off :yep:

thanks for the B-D wishes guys love you all more than ya know.
it means a lot to me to get on here an share things with this group.

 :hi:
