thanks!!! i so badly want to do some more hatches but i live in a place where i can't have chickens unless i have a acre of land which i don't and the guy that gave me the egg is gonna take it when it gets old enough. hes so spoiled to i dunno how i'm gonna give him/her up  and he doesn't want nemore after this so i can't do ne more hatches

awww i dont think i could give it up either that would be to hard id be hidin me a chicken lol .. thatreally stinks gosh just think about givin up my little one is drivin me nutts im really sorries to hear ya cant keep it

if it turns out to be a hen i may try but if it turns out to be a rooster theres no hiding it lol, and if i do for sure have to give it up atleast i know where it is and can go see it ne time i want . and i could hatch more if i wanted to sell day old peeps but i would end up with a house full of chicken lol!!! i get way attached to my animals and i gots lots of them. 3 fish, 2 sugar gliders, 1 dog, 1 chicken so far(got like 2 more waiting to hatch), and 1 turtle lol

lol im the same way cant see my days with out my critter babies.. i would sooo totally be hopin for a girl lol hehehe ut atleast youll get to see it and i hope the other babies hatch

WELL OF COURSE I'M NO EXPERT(DUH MY FIRST TIME) BUT I LOOKED AT FEATHER SEXING AND BASED ON THE THE PRIMARY FEATHERS R LONGER THAN THE SECONDARY ONES, SO I'M THINKING I MIGHT HAVE A GIRL. BUT I WILL BE ABLE TO SPEND A FEW MONTHS WITH IT NEWAYS!! UGH SHE/HE IS SO SPOILED LOL I WAS JUST PLAYING WITH HER(WERE JUST GONNA STICK WITH HER FOR NOW) AND NOW I PUT HER BACK IN THE BOX AND SHE IS GOING INSANE!!!!!

hehe.....she is a week old now and going crazy!!! trying to escape its "box" lol its actually pretty funny!! but omg the amount of poop this thing throws out is crazy!! i'm changing the "box" twice a day!!!! wow i knew they pooped a lot but WOW this goes beyond anything i thought lol.....

Do you have visitation rights after you give up your baby? I did pretty much the same thing, but didn't hatch the eggs, but got chicks and raised them for 4 weeks and took them to my daughter's house to the coop there. We visit often. I'm on my way out the door now to see them at this moment. Daughter thought she lost one last night, but it was stuck in a narrow spot in the hen house, and we are going out to "board it up" with an old metal license plate nailed up there to keep that from happening again. I was afraid that might happen, especially after reading about the mishap with the "cupboard chicken" on this site. Just like little kids, you gotta keep you eye on them constantly!

yeh its the guy i work with that is taking him, sorry it took so long to get back to this post been busy. but yeh considering me n him have worked side by side for like 3 years for my dads company we have become close, hes like another father to me so my husband and i actually take our kids to visit his farm on occasion so i will get to see my baby anytime i want
