Holy crappers, don't really know what I did but here is a pic of Ruby, Henry & some of our  babies.... not Ruby & Henrys`babies... Popeye is the one in the middle.

For birds I'm worried about - I add a scoop of baby parrot food. Exact hand feeding formula.

I have no idea if this works because usually when you find a bird in distress its pretty far gone. Being flock oriented, they hide their illness as long as possible because the flock will kick them out or kill them to protect the flock.

But I use the handfeeding formula, peanutbutter, cooked quinoa, amaranth and egg laying crumbles plus uncooked seed oh and rice. LOTS of fat & protein.

I hope he pulls through for you.

yes .. but today is a different thing again, he has had 4 good feeds today ..and not so much a loner ....he's with me again as i type.. maybe he had the crankies with me cos i hadn't seen him for a few days ... he is now on my head!
